You actually can NOT upload any video to Remark. We work with your existing storage solution such as Dropbox, YouTube, Vimeo, Box, Sharefile, S3 and countless others so you don't double upload and/or double pay.

Remark is completely browser-based. There is nothing to download as long as you have a web browser like the one you are using to view this page. We are built for Chrome but support Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer and many more browsers.

Remark is mobile-first which means every experience you encounter is made to work on small devices such as an iPhone or Android first. From there, larger screen sizes and resolutions such as on tablets and desktops are easy peasy.

There are 4 permission levels in all Remark projects: - Owner - The highest level person, who creates the project and can do everything - Manager - The same permissions as an owner, can invite collaborators - Editor - This third level person, who has the ability to contribute videos from their own storage solutions but cannot invite collaborators - Guest - The lowest level person, who has the ability to play, review, and approve videos with or without an account

There are no contracts with any individual Remark plans and you can switch between the account types at any time. Enterprise plans have service level agreements and additional stipulations that typically encompass our commitment to you as a customer versus binding you to us.

Remark is enterprise-grade which means security is one of our priorities. We give complete control to project managers and owners with collaborator management, passwords, deadlines, watermarks, and private viewing rooms.

When you add a video to Remark, a viewing room is created. All viewing rooms are by default "Public". This doesn't mean it is broadcast to the public, but public viewing rooms have unique links that can be accessed by anyone, with or without an account. Private viewing rooms are a feature of Pro account project owners and above which if enabled, the viewing room links are restricted to explicitly invited collaborators, only.

Embedding is the ability to copy some lines of code that Remark provides and have the viewing room experience on your own website.

With any account, you can have a live viewing room session with unlimited collaborators around the world at the same time and have them all sync to you as a leader. Whatever happens on your screen will happen on theirs, automagically and with frame accuracy!
